Training: Doubles Training: Bullseye Training: Multiplayer

A competitive game to train doubles.

Aim of the game #

The aim of the game is to hit more doubles than your opponent in the allotted time.

Preparation #

At the beginning the game is thrown on Bull. The winner decides on a doubles field that he wants to practise during the game. The loser has to take the double field opposite. Only double hits that land in your own previously selected square count.

Example: If the winner chooses D19, the loser must take D1.

The loser begins.

How to play #

As usual, three darts are thrown alternately. To be allowed to throw on a double field, you must first “get the ball”.
You get the ball by hitting single bull or the bullseye. Nobody has the ball at the start of the game. Once you have the ball, you remain in possession of it until your opponent hits the (single) bullseye.
As soon as you have the ball, you can throw on your previously thrown double field. Each hit on your own double and the bullseye scores one point.

Example: Alice and Bob are playing against each other. Alice has chosen D20, so Bob must throw on D3. Bob begins.

He hits the single bull with his first throw and is allowed to throw the remaining darts at D3. He hits D3 and D17 and therefore scores a point.

As Bob has the ball, Alice has to throw at the bullseye - she hits it. She then hits the D20 and the S20. That’s 2 points - once on the bullseye and once on her double.
