10x each number

Training: Singleplayer Training: Scoring

A game to practise scoring on all the big numbers.

Aim of the game #

The aim of the game is to score 10 points on each of the numbers 20 to 15 in succession.

How to play #

You keep throwing at a number until you have scored 10 points on it, starting with 20. Every hit on the correct number scores points, every hit on the wrong number scores minus points. Triples score 3 points, doubles 2 points and hits on the single field score one point.

At the end of each shot, the points of the individual darts are totalled and added to the current score. If this is at least 10, you can move on to the next number. As you can quickly move away from your target with several negative scores away from your target, it makes sense to set yourself a personal threshold value that you can no longer fall below - for example -20.

Example: Current number: 19
Score for number 19: 1 point
Thrown: S19, T19, S7 -> 1 + 3 + (-1) points
New score for number 19: 5 points
Thrown: T7, S19, S3 -> (-3) + 1 + (-1) points
New score for number 19: 2 points
